The food for families initiative provides a way for TCC to service a local need.  Food is collected at the Missions Ministry table in the foyer.  Members collect food from the drop-off point and deliver it to Christ Chapel Share and Care where it is distributed to needy families.

EcuadorCampamento Bautista Chacauco (Baptist Camp of Chacauco) located in the Andes Mountains, is about 3 hours south of Quito, Ecuador.  The camp along with a sister camp located in Tena, Ecuador serves as the base of operations for Steve and Carol Thompson.  Camp Chacauco serves as a camp for youth, a retreat for Ecuadorian pastors, a college campus and an extension of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Members of TCC have traveled to Chacauco almost every year of the church's existence to provide construction assistance and to conduct Vacation Bible Schools as a means for the local pastors to create relationships with children and families.  This year's trip is scheduled for mid-July.
