Kevin Godfrey, our Counselor Deacon, is taking a group to Johnson's Ferry Baptist Church on Saturday, September 11 for Stephen Ministry training.  The goal for our counseling ministry is to have fully-trained and equipped volunteers that can minister to those needing a listening ear in Catoosa County.  Please pray for Kevin and this group of adults as they attend the conference.  Look for your opportunity in the future to participate in counselor training!

James Peace, our Care Deacon, is putting together a great ministry for us at our 2nd Care Conference.  The Care Conference will be hosted at the Colonnade on Sunday, September 12.  On this Sunday, you are invited to the Banquet Hall immediately following the morning service.  A catered lunch will be provided for all who sign up.  After lunch, you will have "break-out" options lead by special guests.  Stop by the info table on Sunday to get updates about the Care Conference and make your reservation for lunch!

If you are a lady who is looking to connect with other Christian ladies at the Church at Catoosa, sign-up now for "The Women's Connection."  This women's ministry event will take place on Sunday, September 19.  This is a meet-n-greet luncheon for adult ladies in Catoosa County.  Invite your female friends!  Dads, help mom out on this Sunday by taking the kids to lunch!

Every male church member nominated by the church this year for the office of Elder or Deacon has been  invited to attend the leadership training with me on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.  When this class is completed on September 12, potential candidates will be invited to the Elder/Deacon Conference on September 24 & 25.  Pray for God to speak clearly to our future leaders!

This year's Vision Night will be one of the BIGGEST Vision Night's EVER!!!  Make plans to join us in the Theater on Sunday Night, Septeber 26 at 6:30 p.m.  At Vision Night, your leaders will share with you the plans God has laid on our hearts for the Church at Catoosa for 2010 - 2011.  You will get information about...
