Dear Friends in Christ,

We are involved in some of the most exciting days in the history of The Church at Catoosa.  We are writing you because we know that in the past the church has played a significant role in your life.  For many this has been your church home, contributing significantly to your spiritual formation.  Some of you are related to loved ones who intentionally helped get you in touch with The Church at Catoosa.  Today, our church is continuing to impact the lives of people.

This is a good time to give everyone a quick overview of what God has been doing in the life of our church.   As the engagement of Cogun has been underway, we have actively been involved with the engineering and development of our road on and off of the property.  Simultaneously, with the help of Cogun, we have been consulting on the location, layout and needs of our church as they relate to us being the place where Northwest Georgia worships.  In conjunction with this progress, we have completed a wetland study of the property, as mandated by the state of Georgia, and those findings have been studied and recorded in the proper manner. God has been with us every step of the way.  Now that we have seen what God has provided up to this point, let’s look ahead.

“Threshold….Open the Door” has been chosen as the title for our Capital Campaign.  We feel the church is on the verge of some of the most exciting days in its history as we prepare to cross a new threshold in the life of our church.  We are asking every family in the church to pray about a special three-year commitment to the building fund, over and above your current tithe.  In this way, we will all have a part in building God’s church.

The challenge before us is great, but we are not alone.  We have each other and we have the presence and love of Jesus Christ.  Please join me in praying for the leadership of God’s Spirit during these challenging days.  I value your prayerful support and trust the church is a blessing to your life.  May God’s richest blessings of love, joy, and peace be with each of you.  If we can be of service to you in any way, please do not hesitate to let us know.
