Casey Hughes - Senior Pastor
William Casey Hughes was born in Tupelo, Mississippi. He was raised by his father, a retired Mississippi Highway Patrolman, and his mother, an office manager. Casey graduated from Tupelo High School in 1994. After taking a brief journey through Community College and a semester to soul-search, Casey recognized the calling of God in his life to serve as a full-time minister. Casey was licensed to the ministry at his home church in Tupelo in 1996. He enrolled in Blue Mountain College to study Bible. As a freshman at BMC, Casey met his future wife, Tina. Two and a half years later, he finally worked up the nerve to speak to her. In 1999, Casey was ordained to the ministry in March, graduated BMC in May, and married Tina in June (BIG YEAR!). From 1996 to 2002, Casey served as an Associate Pastor, Youth Minister, and Recreation Minister at various churches throughout Northeast Mississippi and West Tennessee. In 2002, Casey and Tina packed up to move to Georgia. Casey accepted a support staff position at First Baptist Church of Lakeview in Rossville. In November of 2005, Casey and Tina were blessed with the birth of their first child, Sadie Claire Hughes. Casey became the Senior Pastor of The Church at Catoosa in October of 2008. His goal for ministry is to lead God's people to unite as a healthy, local body of believers that impacts the community for Christ.
